PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (March 1, 2018) – The award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show has entered into a new era in its award-winning history. For the first time ever it has expanded to the FM dial.

Show host Tony Leodora announced today that WNPV 1440-AM and 98.5-FM have joined the list of syndicated stations featuring the GolfTalk Live radio show. The Lansdale (Pa.) based station airs in Bucks County, Montgomery County and the Lehigh Valley. WNPV is a family-owned talk radio station that has been serving the community for 58 years.

GolfTalk Live will air from 10 to 11 a.m. each Saturday on WNPV. This is in addition to its prime airings from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. each Saturday on flagship station WNTP 990-AM. In addition, the show can be heard from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday on WOND 1400-AM in South Jersey. Via the internet, the show can be heard on The Golf Director Network, which reaches across the United States and to 145 foreign countries.

“This is another big step for GolfTalk Live,” said Leodora. “Not only are we expanding to FM, but we have added another trusted station and will be working with people we consider to be friends. They fit perfectly into the GolfTalk Live family.”

At WNPV, the people who will be working closest with GolfTalk Live are general manager Phil Hunt, sales manager Barry Papiernik and talk show host Darryl Berger – an admitted golf nut.

“We are very excited about the addition of GolfTalk Live to our programming,” said Hunt. “Our area is such a hotbed for golf. There is a real passion for the sport. And nobody stokes that passion like Tony Leodora. He is the most trusted name in golf in the area.”

The new alliance will kick off with a number of live remote broadcasts in WNPV’s back yard — Indian Valley CC in Telford in March; Mainland GC in Harleysville in April; and Freddy Hill Farm and Driving Range in May.

Things get even more exciting when the new Valley Forge Invitational tournament on the LPGA Symetra Tour comes to Raven’s Claw GC in Pottstown. Two shows, a preview show on May 19 and the final round show on May 26, will broadcast from Raven’s Claw.
