Schedule of Shows

Saturday, March 16, 2019; Golf and Baseball Special from Clearwater, Florida

The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass … Spring Training … St. Patrick’s Day Weekend … Spring Break. Is that enough activity and excitement in Florida?

Well … add another event. GolfTalk Live’s annual Golf and Baseball Special is on tap … and the lineup is more power-packed than the one the Phillies are touting.

We have not one, but two Hall of Famers on tap for this week’s show.

For the golf component we turned to Jan Stephenson, recently elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame. We visited with the LPGA legend at her Tarpon Woods GC, only a few miles from Spectrum Field, the Phillies spring training site. She talked about everything from her love of baseball to her upcoming induction during U.S. Open week at Pebble Beach.

The baseball side is being covered by Phillies Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt. The greatest third baseman in baseball history will put his analytical mind to the topic of “The Art of Hitting a Baseball vs. the Art of Hitting a Golf Ball.” It is a don’t-miss segment.

Producer Eddie Caiazzo will present an entertaining montage of the sounds of the ballpark at Spectrum Field.

Finally, we enter the monthly Putting Corner segment with renowned teacher Tim Yelverton. He will have some interesting takes on the putting styles at The Players Championship.
